There are 3 versions of the Map 1 download.
They are currently hosted on Google Drive, but will be moved to long term hosting in the future.
All versions have commands enabled and include all player data files, though in singleplayer you might have to drag the one you want somewhere else.
If you want to load someone else's save, find their UUID and rename that file with your UUID.
Size zipped: 137 GiB
Inflated: 175 GiB
This is the full version of the map. If you have too much space and not enough stuff, download this one.
Size zipped: 33 GiB
Inflated: 36.4 GiB
This version of the map trims any chunk that had an inhabited time of less than 1 minute.
This is the download you get if you want to explore all the builds and bases, but don't plan to play on it if you want the world to be pretty.
Because the map was generated over multiple versions, it's a bit messy to take the repack and play with it, you get visual seams.
The overworld was generated out to 20k (40k x 40k) in 1.19.2, then out to 30k (60k x 60k) in 1.20.1. The nether was generated to 5k (10k x 10k) in 1.19.2, but had no world broder. In addition, Paper had a bedrock pattern generation bug that was fixed mid verison.
The end was generated to 10k (20k x 20k) and was later pruned back to 10k mid map.
Your third option is if you know what particular thing you want, you can pull region files individually and place them in a void world superflat singleplayer save.
You should probably grab level.dat, and for any region you want the region file, entities file, and poi file.
It's a bit annoying to navigate on Google Drive for now but it's a space saving option.
In the future there will by a live map and a live copy, but for now the best thing to do is refer to your screenshots with coords showing and use this
